With just four weeks to go the campaign to bring Rubens to Britains apple lovers is only just beginning....

On October 4th you will find the team just outside London bridge station offering Rubens to all commuters as a healthy breakfast and those clever folks from Mid Kent Growers and Norman Colletts will be there to talk to everyone too. Rubens have been grown in the UK since 2007, ever since, in fact, Mid Kent Growers Chairman, Nigel Bardsley spotted them at an Italian trade fair. The MKG group pioneered the growing of Rubens in the UK and have since brought additional growers into the 'Rubens UK family'. With only 11 growers producing Rubens, you can be sure that they are the real experts in producing the best of British fruit.
